I am always looking for awesome vintage/retro activities around Southern California. Any and all suggestions are welcome and appreciated! For vintage living in SoCal.
Los Angeles, CA. In the heart of LA is this vintage gem, Italian restraunt and club. There is a black tie dress code and they frequently hold big band and swing nights. This art deco lounge has a large dance floor where you will see patrons tearing it up. There are new shows playing every weekend and on these nights it is ages 21 and up. You can show up for the show or reserve a seat for dinner. Dinners can be pricey but the show is usually only $20-30.
Anaheim, CA. Disneyland. Occurs in fall around October/November
Montclair, CA. Modern movies at the drive in.
San Diego, CA. Retro pool party convention.
Long Beach, CA. A cruise ship from the 1930’s gone warship and then docked in the 1970’s. There are several events throughout the year.
City if Industry, CA. Modern movies at the drive in.
Las Vegas, NV. Retro burlesque and car show convention.
